The Geothermal District Heating and Cooling Days 2025 will take place in Vienna, Austria, from 20 to 22 May 2025.

District heating and cooling and geothermal energy offered vital options to decarbonise the heating and cooling sector and reduce the dependency on energy imports in Europe. Although these concepts have a long tradition of use in Europe, they still cover a niche with a significant potential for market growth in the upcoming years.

The Geothermal District Heating and Cooling Days 2024 is organised by the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC), in collaboration with the Austrian Geothermal Association, and GeoSphere Austria, and supported by SAPHEA project.
